There are some negative reviews for this product, but I have not experienced anything negative about this product. The material is a typical waffle weave for thermal clothing. I will say the material feels thin but it retains heat very well and when worn under extra clothing it doesn't add much bulk. I'm 6ft 165lbs and prefer a size L.
