The hinges I received were marked L&R but they didn't match the angles of the original hinges. At first I thought the hinges were marked incorrectly but by golly, I think the original hinges were reversed and may be accountable for the issues we had with one hinge breaking and the splitting of the body panel under the rear window by the Ford logo. Then new hinges seem to operate the rear window opening perfectly.

Only tool difference was stock was a 11mm socket and these are 10mm.These are metal, and not stock junk plastic. That's my review!

Super easy to install with 2 people, a lot better than paying the 250 I was quoted to have them replaced at dealership. That's my feedback.

I am not sure how but when installing the screw broke during tightening. Had to use the old one from the part i was replacing.

Direct install in about 30 minutes ,be careful installation broke a plastic part off while installing /still installed fine . Happy with the purchase

Fit my 2009 Explorer - match for the corroded OEM part. No issues to install - there are a few videos on YouTube that walk you through it.

All the parts you need, washer, nuts, etc. are included in this package. Substantially less expensive than other alternatives. The installation was a breeze.

I picked these up a couple weeks ago, and I replaced one hinge the same day the parts arrived. It only took about 15 minutes to unscrew the old one and put in the replacement. There are videos for how to do the install yourself, and it's crazy simple. After a couple weeks, the part is still holding up. So while I initially thought it was a bit pricey for some plastic, it's actually a super durable material and seems like it'll last me another 275,000 miles (what I got off the originals.)

Better than anything we found at the local auto parts store. This set came with all the neccessary hardware and washers that prevent leaks.

These are longer than the hinges made for my 2003 Explorer Sport 2-door. Had to send them back. But they appear to be well made and sturdy hardware with them. Had to strengthen and reuse my existing hinges.

The fitting was not great , the plastic part that goes the lift gate glass broke due improper fitment. You have to tighten the hinge at an angle in order to tighten it. For the money I am dissatisfied

Fits just like factory. At first i bought some at autozone. The look cheep and was close to factory but twisted as hatch went up and down. These fit perfectly on my 02 ford explorer.

These look like factory and worked perfectly with the '05 Ford Explorer I bought them for and all the necessary hardware was included. You really can't ask for me.

I fumbled around a little bit getting the left-hand / right-hand hinges in the right location, and also lost the nut in the hollow of the formed sheet metal. But, in the end, I retrieved it with my telescoping magnet wand (I recommend this tool - just in case). Would be a very easy job the second time! Parts looked to match the original OEM parts very closely.
