Fixed device connection issues

I couldn't connect the device to my phones. Tried 2 different phones. After several attempts I tried disabling cellular data on the phones, restarted the phones and then was able to connect to OBD2 via WiFi. After connecting, I restored cellular data. This is the only way to establish a connection. Applications used: DashCommand, Torque, OBD Car Wizard and EOBD Facile. Everything seems to be working great, the only annoyance is the initial connection.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Save time and money!

My son's car is very temperamental and the check engine light comes on when he doesn't close the gas cap properly. He should take it to our mechanic so they can figure out the trouble code. Luckily he didn't have any major problems, but at least that way he would know if he had to accept it. It's small and handy to keep in the glove compartment of his car and it only takes a few minutes. do a diagnostic test. The way cars are today, everyone should have one in their car.

He did exactly what I needed.

It couldn't be simpler. I opened the box, plugged the scanner into the socket under the dash of my Ford F150 and turned on the ignition (without starting the car). While sitting in my truck, I downloaded ODB Fusion ($9.99) to my iPhone. I went to Settings, Wi-Fi and connected to an OBD device. I opened the app, ran a diagnostic and saw that the engine had failed on 2 cylinders causing 2 warnings and 2 "permanent" warnings. I reset the errors and the light on the dashboard went out. BUT constant

WiFi beats Bluetooth. . .

The BAFX Bluetooth interface caused two of my four cars to malfunction. I have two BMWs, a 2001 330Ci and a 2005 645Ci that didn't perform well after scanning. Both generated erroneous trouble codes that were not cleared until another scanner was used. A 2005 645Ci would not boot after using a BAFX scanner. No side effects were observed on either the 2005 Jaguar Sv8 or my 2015 Silverado. Luckily I bought the Foseal Improved Version Car WiFi OBD2 Scanner at the same time. Foseal worked…

Works great for resetting the check engine light - 03 CRV

I drive a 2003 Honda CRV and have the check engine light on the whole time which contains the evaporator system code. I had a friend with a code reader test this and reset my light but it comes on after a while. I just wanted this device to reset the light as I don't like it. I bought this OBD scanner to use with my iPhone 6S. I tried their recommended app which only read the code but wanted me to pay to be able to reset the light. I uninstalled that app and tried another one. I downloaded Car…

No More Engine Warning Secrets

Here's an example of why everyone should have one of these diagnostic tools. I was on vacation visiting relatives whose house was about an hour away from my house. When I was almost there, the check engine light came on and didn't go off until the end of the ride. One of the family members often repairs cars himself, and I asked him what he thought was the reason for the warning. He said he has an OBD scan code reader and can probably determine what caused the warning. He was only gone a few…

This Foseal OBDII scanner does exactly what it says on the tin - it connects to the OBDII -Connects to your vehicle and provides private WiFi -Fi-connects to your smartphone and allows you to use any of the many compatible OBD apps to analyze vehicle data, performance statistics, fault codes and even (if the app allows) reset/erase faulty ones Error codes (like O2 sensors on high power). Cars) ). On my iPhone, using the excellent OBD Fusion app, the Foseal scan tool connected quickly, displayed

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Repair

I have a cheap handheld scanner that has always been good, it has never found codes in any of my cars. Except this time my handheld scanner could not find ANY code even though the check engine light came on. I recently had the fuel pump replaced on my Escalade 07 and as soon as I drove the truck for 20 minutes the check engine light came on. My hand scanner didn't find any codes and couldn't delete the MIL either. Instead I decided to try the Foseal WIFI Scanner and was VERY happy with it…
