As such, there are no disadvantages, it is convenient to use.

These are extraordinary headphones. If dynamic headphones sound like headphones, then the sound of these planars feels close to the sound of studio monitors. Smooth monitor sound with accurate, but inexpressive bass. And it would be completely smooth and boring monitor sound of these headphones if it were not for their high frequencies and upper mids. They sound beautiful and very natural without a hint of distortion, which is what the planar design is actually famous for. And all because the…

Pros
  • Uniform frequency response, no distortion, powerful dynamics. Reduced sensitivity (plus - because purchased for stationary equipment).
Cons
  • Uncomfortable ear pads. Inexpressive bass, weak subbass. There is no soundproofing (they are also half-open).

I can't stop being happy with the purchase, a very good deal!

For many years it somehow sat in the subconscious that it would be necessary to buy them, and now I decided. On the one hand, it's good, because the sound is so good that there was an increase in quality (before that I listened to sony mdr-7506). On the other hand, listen to the entire music library again! :) For listening to music, this is an excellent option! Of the shortcomings, I can only name that any flaws in the recording can be heard very clearly! On the other hand - an extraordinary…

Pros
  • Sound quality.
Cons
  • Quite bulky and doesn't fold up. The effect of "resonator" with silence.

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

I liked the sound out of the box - a gentle rise in the upper part of the bass gives a pleasant bass sound, but without a hum, the middle is clean and even, the vocals sound great, the instruments are natural. High frequencies are good - not a hint of sharpness, but not muffled either. On a weak source - a smartphone, the sound is quiet even at the maximum, the bass is too smeared, and there are not enough tops. Headphones sounded from the stationary Little Dot II tube and from the headphone…

Pros
  • Driving, captivating sound with a powerful pleasant bass, good mids and neat highs - detail within the required framework. Detachable cable, detachable ear pads, reliable simple design, soft and high quality ear pads, reasonable price. Deficiencies are potentially fixable.
Cons
  • The ear pads are thin - your ears will sing in warm weather, the bundled cables are so-so - one is too long and hard, the second is a bit short.

I am amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Fostex T50RP MK3 rocking Focusrite Scarlett Solo and ASUS Xonar Essence STX sound cards. they play well on both sound systems, but ASUS has a more pleasant sound and there are a lot of settings. You can listen on your phone but the sound is weak. It is simply unrealistic to make them wheeze even at 300 - 600 ohms, they scream like carved ones, but the sound is always clear and even. flac format is a pleasure to listen to. The bass is great and doesn't fade or fade as the volume increases…

Pros
  • Excellent smooth studio sound without embellishment, simple reliable design, they sit comfortably on the head, 2 wires for 3.5 mm jack and 6.3 mm jack are included.
Cons
  • A little heavy, you need an amplifier or a good sound card to pump them, ears get tired after 1 - 1.5 hours of listening, fog up even earlier.

I expected mediocre quality, but the product was pleasantly surprised.

There is an opinion that they do not play the very bottom and this parameter is very different from batch to batch, but after listening to several MK 3 problems for several years, I didn’t notice any problems. Everything was equally good everywhere. Also, I didn’t catch a strong increase when connected to powerful stationary amplifiers. The difference in the transition from a hi-fi portable, in my opinion, is at the level of nuances. You can listen perfectly with it.

Pros
  • Pleasant darkish sound, with slightly soft bass, clear mids and not bright highs.
Cons
  • They press on the ears, on the top of the head, it's hot in them.

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

Headphones require not very complex, global modernization. The finalization of the headphones consists in a complete reworking of the magnetic system and complete damping. In my case, the case of the magnetic system was redesigned, in which there are 5 magnets on 2 sides. In stock, there are 6 magnets, 3 magnets on both sides. I removed the standard dampers, the drivers themselves and the cups of the case, pasted over with a rather dense felt. The sound, colossally strong, changes for the…

Pros
  • Quite a lot of potential for different modifications
Cons
  • The sound of stock, for an amateur

The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

I have the entire line of TxxRP MK3 Fostex headphones, of which, in my opinion, the T50RP MK3 are the most impartial, which is probably the most consistent with the concept of high sound fidelity, T20RP MK3 will delight you with deep bass when you want to drive, T40RP MK3 - due to the closed design have the best sound insulation, output, if you want to listen to music without disturbing anyone, a must have for night listening.

Pros
  • Very honest, without embellishment, and at the same time light, maybe a little bright sound. The sound is most similar to the legendary Soviet TDS-5 isodynamics.
Cons
  • My "metal" past sometimes asks for more drive.

I'm very happy with the product, it's very satisfying.

These are my first open headphones and even planars, before that there were only closed speakers, perhaps this caused such delight from listening. Now in use akg k361, Sony mdr-7506, old senses of the hd series are still lying around somewhere, but the fosteks outperform all of the above options: in my case, I didn’t have to get used to the sound at all, it shocks with its purity and elaboration from the first minutes, instruments and vocals do not fall into a heap, everything is in its place…

Pros
  • Stunning sparkling transparent sound, quite comfortable fit on the head, although the design is conditionally open, not much sound leaks, price
Cons
  • Ear pads

I did not regret the purchase, everything is fine.

I'm far from the first to write this. But if you study these headphones and reviews a little, you can understand that they are very flexible (in terms of customization). and it is required here. From the very beginning, change the ear pads. Fortunately, this is not difficult, I pulled the ear pads from logitech g pro x, which I bought on Ali, onto the cups. This is a must because the stock ones are incredibly thin. I think it is clear what problems can come from this. Also, the pillow on the…

Pros
  • Great sound, magnetoplanar speakers. good headband adjustment, the possibility of customization
Cons
  • bad ear pads from the box, like the headband, are very thin and press.

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

There are no perfect headphones, but these are definitely worth listening to and drawing conclusions for yourself. Personally, I really like the sound, the rest let everyone decide for himself. I will write down a few practical points: 1) I repeat what everyone writes and says - you need an amplifier. Without an amplifier, only macbook pro was able to give an acceptable sound, I tried it on air and phones - it will not work. 2) Many complain about the comfort of wearing - I feel comfortable…

Pros
  • Sound Detachable wire Removable ear pads Build quality is better than expected Sit comfortably Interesting retro design, I like it
Cons
  • Ears sweat after listening for a long time. I ordered velor ear pads (from Shure), I'll see how the sound and comfort change.

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

I liked it very much. The high frequencies are quite bright, it can warm up. They are very comfortable on the head and the sound is on top. I did not even expect to hear such detail and sharpness of sound. Bass is enough. They swing only from the amplifier (I have a Xenyx mixer). They will play softer with a good path. Perhaps over time I will add something to the review. P. S. - Some conclusions - A month has passed, I actively warmed up with special tracks and music - the headphones have…

Pros
  • Sound detail. Ease of use. They sit comfortably on the head.

The product can be used, I expected a little more.

Regular ear pads are very thin and uncomfortable, I had to buy denser Dekoni + 5k for them, but even with them the wearing comfort did not increase completely, but tolerable. These are my first planar headphones, I liked the sound, I listen to metal - they sound good, with these headphones I wanted to listen to everything in 24bit, metal sounds great with additional instruments (Within Temptation, Skillet, Apocalyptica, etc.). I was afraid that in planar there would be no bass as in dynamic…

Pros
  • Sound Planar emitters Detachable wire Price
Cons
  • Uncomfortable fit headband felt a little pressure from above.

Good quality product, I rate this purchase excellent.

And for everyone else, these are great non-genre headphones! They are awesome to listen to vocals of all stripes! Any instruments sound very cool. The fact that they are half-open creates volume and an average scene. In open models, it is even more. It is also pleasant to listen to electronic music and the bass, again, is not enough for bassheads. I miss about 10% of it, and then only sometimes. And sometimes everything is very, very good, the semi-open design affects. But for such a natural…

Pros
  • When I bought it, I listened to the dx200 line-in through an amplifier. The sound seemed very natural with excellent resolution, excellent not cutting highs, awesome mids and slightly weakened basses, but at the same time the bass character is soft and not very pressing like in closed basshead headphones. The bass also has resolution and it's pretty good. At high volume, the sound does not turn into mush
Cons
  • They need to be pumped with such a decent amount of power, resistance 92 at 50 ohms! Maybe the bass heads will be missed. Mp3 and other crooked oblique recordings, especially high-frequency ones, are opened instantly if there is a high-quality audio path. I'll have to download everything in flac and with good recording quality
