Good for the price good for accessories

bought for long exposure work with my Sony A7ii. As long as it works well and does what it promises. If not, unplug the batteries when not in use. this drains the battery. I was very upset to discover this when I went into the woods for 2 hours and turned on only to find my remote was dead as a doornail. Super bum as I only used it once over the weekend! Now I just flip the battery over when I'm not using it. That way I just flip the battery back over when I'm ready to use it.

Reliable product and great price

This remote control is currently being used with a Sony A6000. I've had a camera since 2014 and I still don't regret my first camera! I've bought this remote 3 times now because I've lost it each time. And every time they worked perfectly. I lost my first one on the beach in Okinawa lol. I usually use it for family photos or when trying to do something candid with my dogs and wife. This product comes highly recommended for the price and ease of use. I'm sure the official Sony remote will have…

Handy device - improves clear photos

It can get annoying to find this timer on your camera. This handy remote control takes your prices down a notch. Mount it on a tripod and take a picture from afar. There are only 2 buttons on the front - an immediate trigger and a 2 second delay trigger. One of my favorite annoyances is how crappy "selfie" photos look. My solution is to mount the camera on a stable surface and use a timer. With this remote I can reduce fumbling with the controls and still get a shot that looks like the…

Works great with my Sony a7R III

Works great with my Sony a7R III. It is used in place of a wired remote shutter release and its range is effective for my use. The only downside is that I needed it to be convenient to take and not toss in my pocket between shots. My solution was to drill a small 2mm hole in the corner (be very careful not to drill the PCB into it). I then attached a small quick release buckle which you can find here: Wrist Strap [Pack of 5] Camera & Cell Phone Quick Release - Hand Straps - From Premium…

Take it! Best Digital Camera Accessories

I bought this because I have a Sony a6300 and needed something that can be used as a long exposure shutter button and it's great. It's very small and comes with a cute little pouch, and the added bonus is that if you put the shutter into bulb mode, you can press the trigger on the remote and it will stay open until you press the button again press and it stops. So you don't have to connect the remote control with a cable or anything like that. The timer is also an added bonus. I've had cases…

I slammed this remote and it works great with Sony A6000

I use this little guy with my Sony A6000 and it works as advertised. Turn on the remote control option in the Sony menu and the remote control will automatically sync with the camera. The optional 2-second delay trigger comes in handy when I'm in the frame and want to get the remote out of the way. This is a handy feature as sometimes you really have to POINT the remote control at the camera to get a signal. While the remote is plastic and doesn't feel substantial, it's very durable. I had it…

Ideal for Sony A6000

I like to photograph landscapes, night scenes and HDR. A tripod and remote shutter make this much easier. I bought a FotoTech IR wireless trigger for my new Sony A6000 and it fits the camera perfectly. will be crucial. The FotoTech Wireless Controller is small, lightweight, easy to store and works best with Sony. . I've already used it indoors and outdoors at 12 to 15 feet with no issues. I can't find anything wrong or problematic with the FotoTech Wireless Controller. It works as advertised. I

Works with autofocus on A7riii

Bought this remote to take selfies with my A7riii. I was tired of connecting my phone to the camera via bluetooth, then connecting and then changing the camera settings to make it work with the phone etc. This remote connected instantly with no issues just by going through the remote settings in the Camera activated. . The remote itself is just cheap plastic. It doesn't look like it will take much abuse or be too weather resistant. It has an instant focus and record button (main button) and a 2

Works great with my Sony A6300 camera

I bought a Sony A6300 to start a food blog with my wife. When the camera is on a tripod and I'm shooting, sometimes the camera is in an awkward position and it's difficult to press the button on the camera. After reading all the reviews, I took the risk of buying a FotoTech wireless remote control. I was surprised how small and light it is. I started using it after installing it and was very happy with the results. I used it to take family photos over the Christmas and New Year holidays. I was…
