The Fox Run Mini Spatula has a small wooden handle like the Norpro 1167, but the stainless steel portion is significantly 1/2 inch shorter than the Norpro and Miu Mini Spatulas. Norpro and Miu have the same stainless steel head size and shape and are 2.5 inches long. Fox Run is only 2 inches long. Of the three brands mentioned, the Miu 2.25 is the only mini spatula with a full-sized handle, but it costs significantly more. I received this little cookie scoop from Fox Run a few days ago. The riveted spatula blade moved in the grip; fatal product defect. When asked, Revain promptly sent a replacement (interestingly without requiring the defective blade to be returned). The second spatula appeared normal on arrival; the blade was safe. However, I washed it once in the dishwasher to prepare it for use. When leaving the dishwasher, the wooden handle splintered over the entire length of the handle! I have used spatulas

Haha! I laughed when I opened the package. While the spatula is nice—a solid piece of metal with a smooth edge—I kind of didn't understand that it was only 7 inches tall (as the title says). The size. I was looking for a replacement for my old metal spatula that had lost its grip and ordered this based on two rave reviews. I think it will only be useful for purposes other than cooking. Maybe as a scraper or artistic tool. Cook, I'll look for more. If it was 10 or 11 inches that would be great…
