I didn't know my truck had a cabin air filter and when I found out I had one and replaced it it was like driving in a new truck!

Fits my mum perfectly on a 2003 Ford Escape. The old filter was crumpled up in the corner of the suitcase. It is very important to replace these cabin filters and few people know about them.

My 2001 Mazda Tribute has never had a filter but this fitted perfectly. You only need a Phillips screwdriver and maybe a flat head screwdriver to pry out the plastic dowels. Installs in about 10 minutes. I don't like smelling perfume and this filter doesn't smell obviously.

Installed in my 2005 Ford Escape XLT. There was no filter, just dust and leaves. It fits well and doesn't seem to negatively affect airflow. Street odors (smoking cars, pavers, etc.) have been significantly reduced. Most importantly, my driving pollen allergy has gotten so much better! I will definitely buy this product again!

Good quality. Replacement in the 2003 Ford Escape is a bit trickier. The included instructions weren't bad, but I'd suggest looking for a step-by-step video on YouTube. This filter is quite durable and has a layer of activated carbon. I'm not sure how much this will help, but it seems to have helped remove the musty smell from my wife's Escape. It took me about 20 minutes to complete the exchange. I'm sure next time I can do it faster. I think the dealer wanted $200 for this procedure.

Nothing to say. It not only reduces the penetration of dust into the interior, but also eliminates odors particularly well. Example: I can walk past a skunk on the side of the road and hardly realize it's there. This counts as "effective" for me. Two caveats: (1) Depending on the vehicle (e.g. my Ford Escape), installation can be a little painful; and (2) it is not as effective at eliminating odors when it rains. Conclusion: This is a Fram product. Works and is not expensive.

This cabin filter is ideal for Mazda Tribute 2005. There is no smell from the filter. By replacing my old filter (WIC) with a Fram CF10137, the volume of air entering the cabin almost doubled (the old filter had oak leaves and some mold (less than 1 year old)).
