I am surprised at how many reviews say they are only suitable for toddlers. Are you all raising a bunch of giants? They fit my 8 and 6 year olds. That being said, they are clearly made and priced to the point that they are intended for entertainment and not for real competitive purposes. My only complaint is the ball. I found it too heavy/heavy. It is very easy to bruise your toes and ankles. We have a fake hockey puck and switched to it.

I ordered these for my 5th grade son as a birthday present. The name was "Youth" Street Hockey Sticks and considering my 11 year old son to be a "boy" I thought they would be the perfect gift for his friend at a reasonable price. The box arrived and looked short. When I opened it, the sticks were definitely shorter than expected. We ended up giving them away anyway, but I would advise the seller to clearly state the length of the sticks in the description for future buyers.

The perfect kit for new high school hockey fans (mine became a Vegas Golden Knights pro overnight), comes with a plastic ball for playing on the sidewalk or unused tarmac to bang around . I have purchased the same item 3 times but note the graphics are on a piece of plastic that wraps around the bottom of the white plastic rod. They didn't immediately detach from the first stick, but as soon as it broke on the sixth stick, we just took the wrapper off without even waiting.
