Very user Friendly, easily configurable and very reliable

Easy navigation through all modules of LIMS system.Easy integration with other systems such as ERP/MRP etc.,Ease managing inventory control & stock records. User friendly interface makes easy use by non-technical personnel also. I have not found anything which i dislike about this software but there are some minor issues like sometimes we need to login again after sometime if you close your browser or mobile device then its takes time to get logged back into same account due to caching issue.

  • High availability, low downtime environment for production servers is very important at present when everything runs 24x7 without any interruption.We can achieve that easily via freeLims

FreeLIMS is an Open Source LIMS which is free to download and use.

I use FreeLIMS since last 2 years, it’s great tool, everyone should have one. When I say FreeLIMS, I mean "free LIMS” because FreeLIMS is not only an open source LIMS, it is also completely FREE! FreeLIMS offers all the functions required for any lab workflow, from sample collection, processing, analysis and reporting.   • Allows users to collect data easily with the web form and save it to cloud storage such as Google Drive or Dropbox.
Cons
  • No sample picker when importing files from cloud drive or dropbox
  • The application crashes when trying to export results
  • Cannot upload.xlsx file format directly
