This set is easy to assemble. if you are familiar with Arduino projects and have some build experience. This is not the first group of robots. Obviously there are a lot of motors, which means a lot of tiny screws, nuts and bolts. The instructions are clear and very flexible. Very clear instructions, easy to put together, works great! I couldn't be happier. As expected, there are a lot of small screws and the wires are a little messy, but that will be the case with any Hexapod. The included software is very nice, setup/calibration/management is very user friendly. As another reviewer suggested, I chose the batteries/charger from the Nitecore website (2x NITECORE IMR 14500 battery 650mAh 3.7V - rechargeable, 1x NiteCore NEW Intellicharger i2 2016 2-channel charger)…

Loved the clear instructions but skimmed them and forgot to slide the flash onto the controller. I also liked the software loaded on my Linux laptop as well as my Windows machine with no issues. Overall a simple build and a really well designed kit that looks good when assembled. I didn't like the standard battery installation and battery desoldering, and using a 550mah 2s lipo with an XT30 connector works great. I didn't want to worry about a new charger and other things with standard lipos. I

This is a good kit and I would recommend it. First limitations. Hi! It's small. It's all plastic and little flimsy servos. They did a good job designing the kit and the assembled robot performed very well on smooth, flat surfaces. This robot is not designed to run on tiles, slopes or anything else that puts stress on the joints or servos as it doesn't last long or endure much. However, once assembled the kit looks impressive and the instructions are decent. Everyone I show him to is impressed…

Freenove Hexapod This is a project I bought for my daughters (teens) and for work. Ideally we would shoot on Halloween to complete the project. This did not happen due to several bumps along the way. All in all it was a good experience and I experienced the "joy" of Arduino and Processing with a few swear words along the way. lol I downloaded the manuals first and looked at them before deciding to buy this hexapod. If you've never built a project like this before, I found it helpful to identify
