Excellent product, suitable for eating

I love this dog food. There are no questionable ingredients. dogs love it. Compared to other freeze dried brands, this one is very easy to rehydrate. Yes, it's expensive; but it's a convenience factor (during my hikes I bought and carried freeze-dried foods to reduce the strain on my back - and those foods were also very expensive). Because of this, I don't use it exclusively to feed my dogs.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Reliability

High Value Items: Dogs

I mix these things with meat; Beef, pork, turkey, chicken or salmon and root vegetables such as potatoes, sweet potatoes or carrots, all canned meats and vegetables. Freeze-dried K9 Natural absorbs all of the moisture from the jar and rehydrates to form a comfortably moist food. Both of my Australian Shepherds love it and so does my cat, believe it or not. There is quality and consistency. It's expensive, but you're either paying for quality food or paying the vets if you don't.

helped my dog restore his appetite

My 1 year rescue dog lost interest in buffalo chow but he completely dug up freeze dried lamb. When he started refusing to eat I tried raw food but the chicken made his skin itchy and he pulled his hair out. It was this K9 lamb that finally got him interested in food again and didn't cause any allergy problems. He likes it. It's expensive, so I mix 1/2 and 1/2 with Nutrasource lamb and pea chunks and give a salmon skin treat twice a day. I also give him an allergy treat once a day in case he is

Suitable for skin conditions/food allergies

I bought this food for my 5 year old Bull Terrier who has food and environmental allergies. She loves food and doesn't seem to break out like she used to. It really only has lamb and lamb offal, no hidden chicken fat (important, she gets chicken welts). He has balls which was a problem but so far so good. She still needs allergy meds (Apoquel, in case you're wondering. I've hesitated for years but gave up. I might try weaning it in the cooler months). itch or lick. She even leaned out which was

Excellent freeze-dried raw food for small dogs with a tender stomach

I have a small Yorkie with a tender stomach. He couldn't tolerate raw frozen dog food so I tried this freeze dried dog food. He is very good at handling and absorbing it. The food is in small pieces which I think helps him a lot with eating. It's also less runny and softer than frozen dog food. A few notes: you will need to add warm water to this lining and I suggest covering it with water and letting it sit for five minutes. I've found that sometimes my dog doesn't digest it fully if I don't…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Quick instructions

No more sharing! 2 updates

Today was the second day that I had my adopted 5 year old Chihuahua cat (very slow and picky eater) and my adopted 1 year old/7 month old toy fox terrier cat (faster eater) have fed. Even though they are accomplices, he won't eat near her because she wants to steal his food when she's done and he will let her if I'm not quick enough to stop it. Well that has changed with this topper. She did it in record time, and for the first time he was not only faster than usual, he didn't let her bite into
