50 112 Freud Flush Shank Bearing Review

Very good level of detail. Smooth cuts, no vibration, and the edge holds up well after working with 3/4" melamine. I've spent a lot more on router bits that don't work any better.

Standard bottom bearing cutter used in a router table as a planer up to 1" wide. I also use it for rabbits, planing, and various other tasks. I like this nozzle because it's short and thick and also gives the nozzle itself stability and strength to withstand a little abuse.

I use them for intricate inlays as well as the obvious flush cuts they are made for. Freud's beats are among the best in every price range. I love other brands too. Whiteside, Amana, CMT, they're all great. But NONE is better than Freud. Razor sharp, high quality carbide tips, well balanced. These larger diameter bits have enough mass to cut through even very hard wood. Absolute 5 stars from this carpenter.
