Great bit holds a sharp edge

I used this bit to cut my Corian worktops. This thing has found many uses and never gets bored. I probably made 750 to 1000 linear foot cuts and the first cut was just as good as the last. It also worked great for rounded and detailed cuts. I've never had any problems chatting, partly because I had a good router to work with.

Pros
  • Provides accurate cuts for almost any cut or pattern cut
Cons
  • Crumpled

Freud makes fantastic cutters

This is a high quality cutter. I've used it literally dozens of times and it hasn't dulled at all. The blades have retained their sharp edges and the bearings are of high quality and run smoothly. Revain's price is better than most retailers and it's worth spending a little more for a quality nozzle than buying a poor quality nozzle that will fade after about half a dozen uses.

Pros
  • Cuts all hardwoods, softwoods, plastic laminates and veneered plywood.
Cons
  • Expensive

Typical Freud Quality

This nozzle is the same high quality as any other Freud nozzles I have had. The upper and lower bearings look like they will last for years. The carbide tip sits flush with the bearing The chisel cleared the edge of a 1.5" thick tabletop with little to no chipping in the corners (my fault for the little there was). -5/8". For most applications this is fine. However, this barely worked on my 2x 3/4" hardwood countertop.

Pros
  • 3/4" Trim; 1-5/8" Carbide Height; 1/2" shank
Cons
  • Requires socket
