Fine Cuts - Blades

I wouldn't even say these are ready to glue cuts, they are like show quality cuts - no post processing required. Even without a zero-gap insert, chipping isn't a problem. R4512, doesn't cut as slowly as I thought for such thin teeth. Be careful though, the riving knife says it's made for thin kerfs, but it's still too thick for that and needs sharpening for the job. I sanded down the paint and spent over an hour getting it just right, but it still holds up like crazy - way too thick for such a…

Excellent miter saw!

Inexpensive 90 tooth blade is my best hard floor saw blade. Bamboo, oak or vinyl without cracking. I've tried other blades but keep coming back to this Diablo blade and the price here on Amazon is better than the big stores. I've used it to install a 1" pine ceiling with spikes and grooves and have had great results. When they started ripping out the bottom, I used them to cross-cut lumber and got a few miles away from them. Overall a great knife for the money.

This is Diablo. Oh well.

This thing cuts through 5/4 white oak like it's not there; Knots, grain, cross grain and all that. I installed it on my Skilsaw table saw which came with an extremely rough blade of about 20 teeth. maybe less. Of course it has to go. This saw blade cuts without chattering, without burn marks, without tooth grooves, at a 90 degree angle and straight. Went straight to the glue, no sanding or planing required. I will of course cut any spikes I can make with it. I see no reason to ever change this…

Has an edge in the cutting profile

Great saw blade, cuts straight even when I do something stupid like cutting. the blade begins to vaporize in a huge cloud. Happy times. My only complaint is that this is one of the best finishing blades Freud sells and is reasonably priced, but it doesn't leave the flat cut often needed for finishing. It only has chisel teeth offset left and right and no flat teeth to clean the underside of the cut. If you're using it to clean small dados, you'll need to go behind it with a chisel to get a flat

Awesome cross cutting blade

This blade is truly amazing. I've compared it to my 50-tooth combination blade when cutting hardwood, softwood, and plywood. No comparison! The resulting softwood and hardwood surfaces looked and felt like they could be sanded to 220 grit. The plywood cut was terribly smooth. I expect it to last as long as most Diablo blades, which is a pretty long stretch. A NOTICE. This kerf is much thinner (0.087 inch) than the "regular" kerf. thin blades with a cut (0.125). While it doesn't usually make a…

This is the second Diablo blade I have purchased. I bought one for my 12" combi miter saw. I couldn't believe the rez. It looked like it had been sanded off when cut, it was so smooth! . Same result. It takes a little longer to rip a piece of fabric apart but it's worth it. I made a t-square for my wife last weekend to line the transfer vinyl on t shirts. 2 x 4 and ran both long sides through the planer. Then I ripped off two 1/4" pieces. It was so smooth I didn't have to sand it before…

High quality results

I bought this for my gun shop to match the gun stock length to the draw length, especially with hardwood and laminate stocks. Cuts are clean, precise and accurate. The specs say it cuts cleanly on the equivalent of 220 grit sandpaper and this has proven to be accurate. I use this blade on a 10" saw and this 90 tooth blade is equivalent to a 12" 100 tooth saw. This type of work requires more than 80 teeth, and that's the equivalent of a 100-tooth saw blade, but it does an excellent job with a…

Fantastic saw blade, best in circular saws

I wanted to improve on the mediocre blade that came with my 10" DeWalt table saw so I turned to Freud and was not disappointed. The smoothest cuts I've ever seen - the cuts come out perfectly smooth and square as if the piece had been run through a kerf rather than a saw, especially on hardwoods like oak and walnut. watch the speed at which I make long cuts through the saw - sometimes there is some smoke and burn marks on the work piece, which I think is to be expected from a 90 tooth blade. A…
