Excellent quality bit

I have purchased several of these bits over the years to use with my CNC machine. They are very well made, sharp and durable. I've used them on a variety of hardwoods but mainly cherry, maple and walnut. I find the cherry to be the best at capturing fine detail with this nozzle, but I believe that is a function of the wood, not the nozzle itself. Item looks good, PACKAGING IS DEATH!

First off, the cutter looks well built. BUT, see pictures. I've worked with tools, including routers, for many years. I KNOW they can be spicy. I KNOW I have to be careful when handling it. BUT THE PACKAGING IS TERRIBLE. I opened the protective case. I carefully picked up the cutter's BASE. I tried to detach it from the plastic base. he shot himself so i tried to twist him. Still stuck. Excellent drill bit good for straight

I ordered this drill bit for a specific purpose, which was to fit ordinary flat glass from the large cardboard store into the oak walls of the display case my father and I were building to hold some of his scale models.
