A quality bit that will last after thousands of uses.

This drill bit has proven itself when drilling bolts in the cubes we manufacture and sell. I've used this drill bit on over 100 sets of 6 dice, that's over 12,600 holes drilled and the bits still make nice, sharp, crisp holes. As with most things, the drill works best when used in a slow, steady motion on a power drill.

Pros
  • 1 year trial period
Cons
  • Available in white only

I've been using this thing since I bought it and it's still sharp

I was mad at myself when the bit arrived and saw I had ordered a 1/4 inch shank , but I've drilled about 200 holes and it still works like new. It drills exactly a half inch flat bottomed hole and since this is Freud's I have no doubt it will work well for thousands of other holes.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of style

Freud's plays are the best!

I previously bought a cheap set of 16 Forstner bits made in China for $24. I haven't seen worse junk in a long time. I didn't realize how bad they were until I bought and used my first Freud-Forstner jet. Day and night! Freud's bit left a nice, clean hole (in plywood, no less) without a crack. I was amazed at the difference in quality. Since then I have purchased several other pieces by Freud and have been pleased with all of them.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Damaged
