🔌 Frost King RC60 Black Heating Cables, 60 Feet Review

Before installing I connected a cable to make sure it is not DOA. I left half of it unwrapped and it melted into a giant ball in about 15 minutes.

I've had several of these devices and have installed them for clients as well. They are not industrial grade, but for the price they are quite good. I've found that a timer is often just as useful as a temperature gauge. They work best when it's snowing to melt the snow in the gutters (they also need heat tape), not after.
