Works side by side. Best in Thresholds

A bit tricky to install in cold weather. I would have preferred a plain top to grommets because the door is harder to open and close, but in a pinch it will work until we replace the entire sill and door.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • So far so good

Fits but the one I received was very deformed.

Although it was unfolded flat on the ground before installation, it curved into a giant C. I managed to install it. better.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons

manufacturing defect?

Came folded but not tight. It lay flat right out of the box. However, it is in the form of a curve. The inside is shorter than the outside. It cannot be straightened because the longer outside is curved. This is inappropriate.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Lots of things

Fits better than original

The original door insert was 1 3/4" wide, but a new replacement cost more than double that. I took a chance and hoped it would still be installed and maybe provide a tighter seal at the bottom of the door. My game paid off as it installed like the original and was easy to build.

Pros
  • Convenient item
Cons
  • Packaging is ugly

Not shown well for sills

The insert supplied has grooves. Based on customer photos, I'm not the only one getting combed inserts. However, the photo of the product shows an insert with a smooth surface on both sides. It doesn't work for us because when closing, the dorr pulls the insert out as it's clinging to the ridges. There's a reason the old one was smooth (and no, it's not that the old one originally had ribs that got rubbed off, you can say it was perfectly smooth).

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
