I've had this jug for 2 months now and I've been trying really hard to like it. I had to send it back immediately. The clear plastic is great. The screw fit in the brewer and tea basket is terrible. It is impossible to keep them in place. At first glance, the handle and lid appear large and comfortable. However, there is no vent on the lid so the pour is very slow and the liquid squirts all over the counter no matter how slow and careful you try to be. I do not recommend this pot to anyone…

I've tried two of these with the same results. Tea straws don't fit properly in the lid after a few uses so they end up floating in your tea which is not good for loose tea. Up until now I have believed that IV tubing is more useful and durable. After a few uses, the brew tubes will tighten and remain attached to the lid as intended. Since I use tea bags to make tea, I just put the tea bags in the diffuser tube, not the tea pipe. LOVE the Ice Ball Bonus Shapes!

I bought this two years ago for water brewing but I quickly found that the tea infuser cartridge would do for cold brewing. This is now my cold brew pitcher for the summer months and I had to find something else for the water! We use it every day, wash it in the dishwasher and have had no problems.
