If you are not in need of a professional drafting board this is the item for you. I bought this for myself to "doodle" with my vintage drafting tools, which include a Leroy with 4 additional templates, vintage compass sets, and a Pelikan Graphos pen with about 20 different nibs and all three ink china guides.Works well for what I wanted it, and it is stable enough, although you do need a steady surface to place it.

This particular draft board is very easy to use. Set-up took about a minute with pieces clamping in snugly. The product as a whole feels sturdy despite being plastic. The moving bits (compass and Right-angle) simply slide along a rail which is a part of the perpendicular ruler. While not elegant, it gets the job done, though it may be difficult for some to create lines lower on the composition unless they pull it out and place it in upside down. Additionally, I see no way to keep the paper…

I did not get the version that has the wheels on the sliding horizontal bar. Without the wheels the bar is kind of jerky but can be positioned correctly with some extra work.

Built kind of cheap, but that’s expected for what you pay for it. Doesn’t compare to a real drafting board. It’s ok for little sketches here and there at home. But, this couldn’t delivery the quality needed for professional drafted drawings. Bar isn’t exactly straight and doesn’t deliver perfectly spaced/straight lines. All the extra tools that come with it are a bonus. The board does bend slightly if you apply pressure ie lean on it to draw. The feet to angle the board are a joke and pop right

Video is misleading. Made of cheap plastic and snap together parts. Not for use for detailed drawing. Straight edge and sliding arm too loose for accurate work. Feet for tilting drawing surface up do not stay in place and wound up gluing them on. Wound up giving it to my grand daughter to play with. Buy real quality drafting equipment for serious work.

We brought this drawing board for preparing detail drawings to construct a bed. My husband likes that it has an intergrated set square with scale. very happy with it.

Work in the architecture profession but only intended to use this for hobby type drawings. The plastic "pins" that slide in the grooves cheap and tiny pieces of plastic. They broke off the parallel bar during the first use. It a shame because it's a great size for a hobbyist and the tools (had they been sturdier) would be really handy. I'm quite methodical with my drafting and very conscious of my movements. I think it must have been weakened in transit and prone to fail.

It looks like a good idea, but it is a toy. Not very accurate. Cannot be used professionally. Very inexpensive, I guess I got what I paid for.

I dropped one of the accessories and (of course) it broke-get what you pay forI can’t remember to contact seller, as the item does not lend itself to repair

The cross bar does not stay in place. I had to position it and hold in place, otherwise lines were not parallel. Joke is on me to think something so inexpensive would be functional

I do calligraphy and drawing. I use this for gridding blank paper and for creating practice sheets. It's OK for this but you have to be careful if you need high accuracy. It's more than a toy but not suitable for professional work. I got my money's worth.

Truly was impressed with all the attachments that came with this draft board. For the money it is a great deal. The attachments really made drafting considerably easier. The board is on the small size but works for printer size paper. It is not a Thick Sturdy board but with care I see no problem with it. Not for professional use but for home use is great.
