Works well just a slight click when opening and closing. But it stays closed so I can live with the clicking. Good product for the money.

Turned out that the hinge pin in the door of the original kit was loose and easy to fix. BUT, I already deleted it, so I inserted a replacement. This replacement part is aimed at a poorly designed Ford pivot.

Perfect fit. I was worried it would be cheap quality but it was just like the original. Part of the price if you look at other sites. It took me ten minutes to put it on and now people in traffic don't wave at me and say I opened my fuel filler flap.

I have a 2009 f150. About 2 years ago the gas cap started to play. I used duct tape to close it for 2 years. This article somehow ended up in my Revain feed and I said heck, I'll give it a try. There are no instructions, but it was pretty easy. This solved my problem for less than $20 and it makes me happy. Is it ideal, no. But that's 90% product.

My truck was not even 5 years old when the factory door failed on my 2013 F150. I tried replacing the door with "chrome" - what a joke! It was absolute rubbish. Then I decided to go back and try to track down the OEM solution. This build was pretty easy to install after watching the video. The only reason I'm giving it one star is because it doesn't close as tightly as the original. It's still way better than flapping in the wind, so I'm happy.

Buy an assembly, but two common problems with a slamming door are a hinge or a spring. Both can be purchased from Revain. I bought 3 of these. One from Oxgord - broke before installation, and the second - from WalMart. I checked after purchase and found Wally was charging twice as much but that was part of the Oxgord.
