Cool product, happy with the purchase, maybe I'll buy it again.

This lens was declared as a specimen with high performance. But, in fact, the only thing we have is a good correction of spherical aberrations (except for the barrel, the camera corrects it). Because of what, the edges even at 8.0 do not look sharp. On the official website, and in almost all reviews it is over-praised, in fact it is not very different from the 8-55mm F2.8-4 zoom, which has stabilization, and is cheaper (almost 2 times in the form of a whale). Up to medium aperture values, HA…

Pros
  • beautiful. Protected. contrast.
Cons
  • Aperture. Colored spots and unpleasant green highlights in the backlight. In some ways it loses to whale glasses.

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

Here, in the reviews (as well as to any other photographic equipment) there are a bunch of people who scold some drawings there, something doesn’t suit them according to their characteristics. Don't listen, these people have nothing to do with photography. These are reviewers. Well, those who measure some lines of resolution, some kind of drop or increase in vignetting when opening and closing the aperture. Feel free to listen - this people have never filmed and never will. They are interested…

Pros
  • Great lens, no flaws. Compact, metal, convenient. Everything is super.
Cons
  • No.

Light weight, fast focusing, excellent colors and sharpness.

Say yes Fujinon 16mm. I originally bought a Fujifilm Xt1 when they first came out and this lens. The camera was slow to focus and the colors were blurry. In the end I sold it. Went to Sony which I liked but couldn't get used to the menu. Discover the Fuji XT3 outstanding in every respect. I needed a wide angle lens and a kit lens, although I didn't need a great lens for landscape photography. This 16mm lens from Fuji is simply superb. Sharp, with excellent color reproduction, lightweight, quick

I have both Fuji 16mm lenses.

This may have been my most unwanted purchase in a long time, but I bought it so I have to reconsider. I was so excited to see this lens on the road that I bought the f/1.4 version to match that focal length. This lens is as good as the praise it gets everywhere people talk about Fuji lenses. So why such a seemingly unnecessary purchase? The f/1.4 lens is too big for miniature Fuji bodies. It's great visually, but I use DX cameras when I need a lower profile than when I'm carrying my bright…

Compact, sharp, handy

I've had this lens for a month now and have used it on both the X-T2 and X-E2. I'm a photographer who rarely shoots video, so I can't comment on that aspect of the lens. I had a 24mm or equivalent lens on every brand of camera I had. I like the perspective and the slightly wider rendering without the distortion that length brings to my photo. The Fujinon 16mm f2.8 has a very familiar place in my kit. Very small and light, it is a good choice for handheld shooting when walking around the city. I

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

The lens was purchased mainly for shooting video. I bought with apprehension after reading negative reviews here that it was unsharp and cloudy. So this is complete nonsense. It is sharp already on an open hole and very contrasting. That's right: sharp and contrasting at the same time, although it seems like mutually exclusive things. On the open, the sharpness drops a little towards the edges, further it is better. Here is an example video: https://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=AGCnBlm_7DM (I…
