Potentially dangerous phone

I bought this phone for my elderly aunt. I programmed it, tested the programming, gave it a lesson on how to use it and it seemed great. But after 24 hours all programs were inexplicably deleted. If I hadn't checked, my aunt would have been in a dangerous situation and unable to call. I don't know if it was just my phone or the product in general, but a phone for seniors should be 100 percent reliable. It's definitely not this one.

It was working fine until we tried turning off 911

It was working fine until we tried turning off 911 The phone called 911 over 20 times with the handset. It was not a good experience after getting a 911 call back which was annoying. I had to throw away the useless phone. Why would a large touch phone for the elderly even have a 911 button? There was no way to fix the configuration error without plugging in the phone, which might get me in hot water with the 911 folks. If you buy, do not reconfigure the red 911 button.

PEACEFUL WORKS GREAT WITHOUT INTERRUPTIONS FAMILY AMAZING

This was a great help to my father in law who has mild dementia, pictures work much better, memory is easy to set to a number or a picture is relative easy, I just read instructions 3-4 times so I can write down the order. haven't reprogrammed the 911 yet, when i got it the family loved it, no speaker, no caller ID but that was EASY to call and the answering machine works just like the phone it has. used for 60 years pick up phone, get dial tone and press picture and also connected to cellโ€ฆ

Perfect for mom for office electronics

The buying experience was not a problem. Setting up the phone was also pretty quick and easy, but I've learned that when you're programming buttons, you have to do everything pretty quickly, otherwise it won't work. I wanted to setup my phone so my mom can call me and my sister ONLY from pictures. I also reprogrammed the 911 button (I guess I didn't mean to check!). Once I figured it out, it was great. I use it with a VOIP phone line (phone is connected to a modem) and I really like that it'sโ€ฆ

Good price, good phone, clear reception, easy programming

My father has dementia and can no longer dial a phone number. I deleted all the photos and rotated them so white was on top and left a photo on the speed dial for him to call me. I disabled the red 911 button and let it dial my number. People with dementia will push all buttons when confused, so it's best if he calls me. Easy to program, easy to customize to your needs. It has excellent reception, loud and clear, allowing my deaf father to hear the smallest voice clearly, even with aids. I wish

This phone is great - been 3 months now there is a buzzing noise when using the phone Too loud for callers to hear each other I was I can send the call back to Future Call for repair and I am very impressed with the customer service!I received an email right away with instructions on how to send the unit in for repair Ask specific questions about the repair process and how long will my dad be without a phone be. Everything went very quickly and I received a call from Future Call to say theโ€ฆ

Love/hate relationship with this phone

Whoever came up with this product was great. The ability to set numbers and add pictures/names, making it easier for those with memory issues, is a godsend. BUT they made the device cheaper. About half the calls I make and receive from my mother are garbled because she can't hear the callers. It's not a hearing problem on your part. At first we thought it was user error as she suffers from dementia. When I then approached her to teach her how to use it, I discovered it was a broken phone. Weโ€ฆ

Useful phone for the elderly or those with dementia

The phone required a bit of setup and number programming but once in it worked perfectly. multiple images, reduce their size at your local copier shop, and place them all in each programmed slot number. Inserting and removing plastic labels isn't very good, so it's best if you try to only paste them inside. and went out once or twice. The quality is fair. But the price is reasonable for what you get. Nevertheless, it serves its purpose even for a good quality phone. A member of my family withโ€ฆ

Great phone for the elderly

I bought this for my 91 year old mother for two main reasons: (1) She now has trouble reading phone numbers and dialing a phone number and as a result she felt distrusted by her friends cut off. and family as she could only receive calls and could not make calls. (2) She kept forgetting to put the cordless phones back on the chargers, the batteries were dead and as a result there were no calls on her line so we had to switch them back to landline phones. For months we have been trying our bestโ€ฆ
