These pliers are damn strong. I used them in round nose pliers to close some wire mesh clamps. They had no problem with 18 gauge clips. These weren't the most comfortable pliers on the hand, but they worked and never bent. They are great for hair extensions. They have a fairly aggressive jaw grip, so you have to be careful with softer metals.

I like that they have small gripping teeth to really hold small items. Some plier grips are smooth to prevent scratches and dents, but they work well for materials where you need a little grip.
