1 Gallon Dry-Packs brand Blue Indicating Silica Gel Beads. This is Indicating Silica Gel will turn Blue to Pink when fully absorbed with moisture. Great for refilling Air Compressor Desiccant Filters, Machinery using volumes of Desiccant, Etc. Silica Gel beads are 3-5MM in size. Unlike other desiccants, silica gel is non-friable and won't disintegrate after repeat regeneration.

this stuff is great for my old car

this stuff is great for my old car, i sewed some clear mesh bags from old nylon mesh curtains and glued them on the car dashboard. The color change shows you immediately when you need to replace them. I put them in front of the gas stove fan that we have and it's hot enough to turn them blue so I don't have to fiddle with the microwave or oven to dry them, just leave them on the hot air path overnight . Tools no longer rust in the back of my car.

Works great and actually changes color

I kept my bucket of silica gel for storing PLA filament and anything else I might need to stay dry. I've been using regular clear/white silica gel packs for years, but I don't like the fact that I can't tell when it's gone. I either run the risk of damaging my stuff if I don't change stock often enough, or I end up spending money replacing old silica that still has life in it. This stuff works great and costs around $30 which is a HUGE value. To test if it really changes color when saturated, I

Great bang for your buck.

This is a great deal on a silica desiccant. It works well and comes well packaged and sealed. I've used it a bit and it works as intended and changes color when exposed to moisture. It can be easily recharged by placing it in a drying oven. I have successfully charged it at 45C for several hours. Of course, the higher the temperature you use, the less time it takes.
