Does the job well. Best in Lighting and Electrical

I installed them on our Toyota Hilux PU to replace the "meep-meep" Roadrunner which is OEM. In Lubumbashi, DRC traffic, you need to stand out, so this pair of horns does a great job of catching the attention of other drivers. They are still functional after 2 years of use in dusty and wet conditions.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Sick and tired sound of a horn. Yay!

I am very disappointed with the sound of these horns. They're pretty loud as advertised, but they sound like a sick old VW. I am an ASE certified auto mechanic and have replaced and installed many horns over my 42 year career. I installed them using the brackets that came with the standard horns and that is a sad excuse for installing a dual horn. I won't buy them for any car again.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Hard to say

No 'plug-n-play' in lighting and electrical

They will install on my 2003 Tahoe but I have to use alternate wiring; They cannot be plugged into existing connections. I only got around to installing it last week due to the extra time it took. That's when I got the real surprise. The sound of the horn is NOTHING like the original horn. The new one looks more like the roadrunner from the cartoon. Or the horn my dad had on the 1970 Volkswagen bus. It's too late to go back—my fault—but I don't want my Tahoe to sound like a roadrunner.

Pros
  • Multiple competitors
Cons
  • Damaged

No instructions - not the only one - no specs Either

I'm replacing some cheap plastic Ford horns with Winnebagos that somehow got hit by a rock or just fell apart on their own. All I need are the amps pulling those horns. Most electrical parts suppliers will list some specs apart from how loud they are - this company doesn't offer anything - strobes don't! From the information provided by one or two others in the review, it appears that the stock horn circuit and fuse should be sufficient. But don't count on it - you have to give the specs.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • No performance

They are alright. Otherwise

I call them "deflected driver horns" and added them to the two horns on our 2015 Toyota Highlander - with direct reference. I look at them in surprise while gently tapping them twice to remind drivers that the green light is on and they need to focus on driving. Installation wasn't difficult. I only gave them 4 stars because they are exactly how you see them. No instructions, no mounting screws, no wiring, nothing. So if you know what you're doing, you're fine. Otherwise, you may need to find…

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • New competition appeared

Strong horn blast harmonics Sound Fail

I like the power of the sound. However, for a large, long-body, four-door, one-ton truck, I don't like the "beep" of a foreign car combined with the traditional American horn. It's a double horn tone, which I don't prefer. It's like listening to the gentle sound of a trumpet combined with your fingers on a slate. I would like to say that the sound is not harmonious and the double tones do not complement each other. If you just want it loud, buy it. If you want a loud harmonic sound, buy another

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Frequency

I don't know what that sound is, but it's not a car horn.

Installation was easy but the sound of these horns is terrible. It sounds like a baby screaming into a microphone attached to a blown speaker. Sure it's loud, but nobody knows it's a horn. The other day I was literally interrupted by a guy who honked his horn when I slammed on the brake to avoid hitting him and watched him look around and say "What the heck is THAT?". I had no idea he had interrupted me or that I had signaled him. The packaging was not the same as in the photo and there were no

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

  • Not all will fit
