Will not fit in any of my glasses

I bought this to replace a broken spout on one of my containers when Spring came. When it finally warmed up I wanted to replace it only to find the insert didn't fit the spout of this can or any of the other 5 red plastic gas cans I have. The insert is too big to fit in the hole. Don't waste money. This needs to be done for some kind of unusually sized brand specific vessel or similar. I hate being ripped off and every time I get more and more afraid to buy things from Revain because of thingsโ€ฆ

Like the design. Easy to use.

I love the design of this replacement spout. Of all the ones available on the market, this is the easiest to use. The button is easy to press if done correctly. You have to remember to press on it and then lower it down. It will not leak if you put it on the right gas cartridge. I finally got it to work without leaking on the third gas can I tried. I also had to use both o-rings to prevent leakage. I noticed that the one that worked had a slightly thicker wall at the filler neck than the otherโ€ฆ

Spout could be a little longer

I bought to replace another type of spout that broke on the original 5 gallon can. It's already difficult to handle a full 5 gallon can of fuel, and using my thumb to control the flow makes it harder to fill up my Tacoma. If the spout was a few inches longer there might have been less spillage since the button portion of the spout wouldn't be too close to the bed of the truck. I also found out why my thumb hurt later in the day because it took time to dump 5 gallons of fuel when the button wasโ€ฆ

Disappointing - Gas Canister

At least disappointing. My original Briggs and Stratton spouts are failing and I was hoping this would be a good upgrade. First, they appear to lack an air intake, as the sides of a 5-gallon plastic can move in and out as it absorbs gasoline or diesel. I could stand it, a real eye catcher is a thin 'hook' that catches on the filler neck of whatever you fill up. The second time I used it, it bent backwards. My guess is that after a few more uses it won't catch on the filler neck at all, allowing

Not bad for Garage & Shop

As for those 'new' gas flow restrictors, this one is a little more forgiving. You need to put six pounds of pressure on the red tab to allow the gas to flow. This is in the attached instructions. I have no problem with that, but some can do it if your hand/grip strength isn't great. I like this nose more than some of the others. However, I still find myself unscrewing the spout from the gas bottle to pour out the gas in a reasonable amount of time. I have many piston engines that need gasoline;
