These 2.6 gallon trash bags are colorful and thin but strong. I really thought they might be very fragile but I tested them by pouring a lot of kitty litter into two different ones and they held up great. It doesn't tear or stretch at all. They fit perfectly in my square bathroom trash can. They seem a bit smaller than my last ones of the same size but still fit nicely in my bamboo bin. I bought these to collect cat poo when I've emptied four litter boxes. The traditional (4 gallon) trash bags found at the grocery store were too big and felt like I was wasting my money so I wanted to try them. After the purchase and before receiving it, I hesitated in my choice because I was afraid that the bag would not be big enough or the opening would be narrower, like bags used to collect dog waste when walking. I bought these bags to use in my Gatco 1910 trash can which holds 2.9 gallons and is 7.5 inches in diameter (top and bottom) and 11 in. has 75 inches. This particular bin has a removable top ring to hide the liner. I've attached 2 photos side by side; one without the top ring to show how much of the packaging is actually stacked on top of the tin and one with the top ring to show the finished product. As you can see there is almost nothing left in the bag to roll it up before I put the ring on.
