🔧 Securely Mount Your Garmin nüvi 50 with the Garmin 010-11765-02 Suction Cup Mount Review

Suction cup part was fine. The mount that attaches to the Garmin device does not fit. It's not big enough to fit around your back or your device. You can attach it at the very end, but it's very thin and falls off easily. Do not recommend this product for the Garmin nuvi 50.

This suction cup kit works just as well as my original Garmin LM50 suction cup that I left in my rental car. No need to book a replacement - just grab a large rental car and ask. They left tons of these kits from other renters. I did this after mine from Revain arrived and was surprised - they probably had a hundred and said how much you want. I also asked about iPhone Thunderbolt cables. no wonder - they didn't have any of them. Yes :)

Obviously not a genuine part (OEM). This is a relatively poor molding and is very difficult to fit into the included suction cup mount or sandbagged dash mount. I have OEM. Inserting it into the mount requires extra physical effort which I believe will eventually damage the mount. I am very disappointed and would not have bought it if I had known the poor quality. I will return it for a full refund.

I don't understand what the other reviewers are talking about. I received the Garmin mount in a Garmin tamper evident box. I'm sure mine isn't fake. Best of all, the Revain is significantly cheaper than the Garmin. One last thing, make sure you remove the mount from the rental car. Like many other reviewers, I left mine in my rental car during the final airport rush.
