Great data for improvement

You never know it's there. The capsule is comfortable to wear and unobtrusive. Most importantly, the additional data will help me improve my running mechanics and efficiency. I am very happy with this product and it has become a valuable addition to my Garmin Fenix.

Pros
  • This is amazing

I like the ease of use of the module

I like the ease of use of the module. If you use a heart rate belt, this item is not needed, it measures the same as the module. However, if you need metrics even if you're running without heart rate tracking, or if your watch tracks heart rate, you'll love the module. At $70, it's expensive overkill if you have an HR strap.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • I have problems

Great but easy to lose

I liked this product. Endless data for you to explore and very easy to use. I say "love" because I lost her on the long Saturday run when I only had a month. I went back, but if that thing falls in grass or clover, you'll never find it. Why did they make it green? Of course, the red comes into its own a bit better.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Negative impression

Failed after five months

The device paired with my Garmin 645M without any problems. Since then I've been using it every time I launch it and have rarely had connection problems. This week (after 5 months) I got a message that the battery was low, so I replaced the battery. Now it connects for a second and then drops. Tried three different batteries. I removed the module and reconnected it to the watch. It still doesn't connect for more than a second or two. And it still gives me a low battery warning. I like the…

Fantastic information for working with a form

I love the statistics that the Dynamics module offers! I have a Forrunner 935 that syncs perfectly with this little gimmick. A few months ago I switched my training to focus on increasing my cadence to improve my running form. I bought this Dynamics Pod to keep track of more layers of my form while making improvements to see what to focus on next. I've learned a lot about my contact balance when I'm at an easy jog pace or race pace. If anyone else is using this non-racing period of the dreaded…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Marketable

I'm very happy with Garmin products, have had five or six Forerunner watches since the venerable old Garmin 305. I bought a Garmin Run a Dynamics Pod and excited to try it across the world at a marathon in Hangzhou, China. It's sad to say that I've found that the brand new Running Dynamics module I bought from Revain to work with my brand new Garmin Forerunner 935 doesn't seem to work: I've tried everything in the guide including the Shaking the Module Wake him up. and pairing the module…

Better than a chest strap for most users

I trained for six months with a heart rate chest strap that delivers the same running dynamics as this pod. Then I started to feel uncomfortable in my chest and decided to try the capsule instead. I'm glad I did. If you keep your watch band taut enough, the heart rate sensor on your Garmin watch's wrist will give you heart rate readings "close enough" that you can still take full advantage of the heart rate sensor. In the meantime, the pod takes care of all other running speakers. Dead easy…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have opted for a newer model

Small but useful trainer for runners!

The tiny but fully functional Garmin Running Dynamics Pod is a device that fits on the back of your running tights and then connects to your Garmin wearable to provide real-time running dynamics during your workout. These six combined metrics help you track your running form and performance and are as follows: Cadence - Measured in steps per minute (spm), how fast you move your feet. The module overrides your watch's built-in cadence sensor. This is more accurate as the capsule is much more…

Pros
  • Beautifully designed
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
