Garmin Cadence Sensor 2: Unfortunately, it doesn't work at all.

The first image is cadence data from the new Garmin 2 cadence sensor showing any gaps. The second image (flat data with no gaps) is from a similar level of activity for the first 30+ minutes of my ride, except the cadence data was from my DuoTrap cadence sensor and speed sensor (built into the frame fiber of my Trek Carbon). Road bike Madone 4.5). Both sets of data were collected with my Garmin Edge 500 via an ANT+ connection (no Bluetooth). On my rides, the first 30+ minutes are always…

Doesn't work with my Vivoactive 4s

I have a Garmin Vivoactive 4s and a Yosuda bike. The Spinbike computer does not measure RPM. I wanted the cadence monitor to provide more data for my workout and when I join a video spinning lesson the trainer calls out the RPM. I have already returned this once and am sending back a replacement. Installation was easy, hookup was easy after finding the right guide. The instructions that came with it are completely useless. You'll have to do your own research to find the instructions. The…

The easiest to install cadence sensor. Light.

This is a review of the Garmin Bike Cadence 2 cadence sensor. Installing my previous cadence sensor was a real problem. Nylon zip ties were required to hold the magnet to the crank and then the pickup/transmitter sensor had to be attached to the chainstay and positioned exactly for it to work. It was easy to hit and take him out of position. i hated it This Garmin Cadence 2 sensor eliminates all that crap. Now all you have to do is simply attach the sensor to the crank with one of the 3 rubber…

If it doesn't work for you try this

I bought 2 from Revain and 1 direct from Garmin, they are all identical and cost the same. All 3 didn't work right away, I mean the green light didn't come on even after changing the battery and they didn't sync to my Garmin 520. Please note that I have 4 other Garmin cadence sensors on my other bikes. and they work fine. Why don't newer sensors work? After comparing them to my old ones that work, I found the problem. The battery is held in the cover by a small tin cage with small projections…
