Not really for Garmin 1000. That thing is huge. It is very soft and not very soft. There are two stretchable inner pockets on each side with plenty of room for a Garmin 1000. I love my Garmin Edge 200 bike GPS and was looking for a case to keep it safe when not on my bike. This tote bag is just a large zippered bag with no internal baffles. I would recommend it to those who want to store a fair amount of items and cables, but it's too big for the Garmin Edge series.
