Description of Garmin Descent Mk2i/T1 Bundle - Smaller-Sized Watch-Style Dive Computer with Air Integration, Multisport Training and Smart Features (Titanium Gray) [010-02132-02]

Advanced, watch-style dive computer with 1.4” color sunlight-readable display (36% larger than previous model) in an elegant yet rugged design. With six dive modes as well as multi-GNSS support and ABC sensors — including an underwater compass — know every part of your dive from entry to exit (GPS tracking does not work underwater). Pair with the Descent T1 transmitter for integrated pressure monitoring on up to 5 tanks via the SubWave sonar data network, and see remaining air time, air consumption rate and more for you and other divers within a range 10 meters. Enhanced estimated wrist-based heart rate and Pulse Ox (not a medical device and not intended for diagnosis or monitoring of medical conditions) sensing of blood oxygen saturation for advanced sleep monitoring and altitude acclimation at high elevations. Built-in support for multiple sports apps, advanced training features, Garmin Pay payment service (not all countries and payment networks are eligible), music storage with streaming service support (subscription may be required) and more. Dive log lets you store and review data from up to 200 dives right on your wrist and share and review dives in the Garmin Dive app downloaded to your paired compatible smartphone. Battery life: up to 32 hours in dive mode with T1 enabled, up to 16 days in smartwatch mode and up to 15 hours in GPS mode with music.

Best dive watch ever

I use it for scuba diving, free diving, spear fishing, hiking and biking. I didn't hear any beeps while diving, but I dive in California and we wear hoods here. My favorite feature is the GPS, it's amazing to see the entry and exit points at the end of the dive. The in-app dive log exceeds my needs. I just love this business.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Not the best

He does everything and it's beautiful!

I have a very small wrist and I was afraid this watch might not fit or be too big on my wrist, but I love it! It fits great, it's comfortable when I'm sleeping, the battery life is substantial, it does literally everything you could need, and it's easy to navigate once you've read the manual. Haha! The first and last hours I'll have. So very happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • Launching GPS navigators
Cons
  • Repairing

Diver's Friend - Running GPS Modules

I bought this for my husband knowing he would want to use it as a dive computer. The battery drains faster when used as a dive computer, but in general it will hold a charge for up to 6 days when not diving. He also does everything else he wants. I love that it has a GPS to use while hunting and it shows all of its notifications. It's really worth it in my opinion. I wish they had a more feminine version so I could get my hands on them, but until then I'll stick with my Apple Watch.

Pros
  • GPS Locators and Accessories
Cons
  • Not Bad

My wife loves it for sports and wearable GPS

This is a truly top notch watch . The watch does pretty much whatever you need to do almost independently of the phone. This is great when you are on vacation and don't want to carry around extra items that you could lose like credit cards etc. Really accurate dive computer. Saves and logs everything so you really don't have to manually write anything on paper if you wish.

Pros
  • Advanced estimated heart rate and wrist heart rate monitor (not a medical device and not intended for diagnosis or health monitoring) Blood oxygen saturation detection for advanced sleep monitoring and altitude acclimation
Cons
  • Difficult shall we say
