Garmin LMT S Navigator Certified Refurbished Review

I am really impressed with this GPS and very happy with my purchase. I've only tried it twice on non-truck roads, but of course you don't rely on GPS, you plan with a proper atlas and plot your route. If the GPS matches your route (which, surprisingly, it does almost 90% of the time with this GPS!), then everything is fine. If you turn somewhere else where you should, it turns around. It's funny sometimes, but I love it, it's tasty and reliable.

I use this GPS for road transport. It's easy to use, accurate, and packed with features. The weather radar function keeps me up to date. It's nice to know there's a weighbridge 5 miles ahead. All local recreation areas, truck parking lots, gas stations and more are there. I bought a refurbished unit and it arrived like new! The update from the WLAN took 4 hours and had no problems. This is a Garmin designed specifically for trucks. (I use it every day in my car and often when I rent trucks). If you've never driven a truck, you can still use this model, but it may be overkill. Winner. Out of the box it took 5 seconds to fetch satellites, now it usually takes 2-4 seconds. The longest was 20 seconds. The screen is bright and easy to read in the sun. Automatic scaling can be disabled. You can choose between 2D or 3D display. You can choose whether or not to show upcoming services (restaurants, gas stations, etc.) on the map.
