Great product, easy to set up. The seller even sent an email the same day asking about the item. Service at the highest level. Will buy from them again without hesitation

Stop thinking, just do it

I don't usually review but if the product is good enough why not. All owners, operators, stop searching and searching. Get a product that makes your life easier. Use this for optimal use in connection with Google Maps. Convenant Transport has the best GPS for trucking. It's the next best thing

Great little device - GPS for trucks

It took me a while to get used to it but it's an amazing device. I really like the Wi-Fi ability to update, no need to connect to a computer and go through a bunch of extra steps. I've been using it for just over a month and couldn't be happier. One piece of advice I learned from my newest GPS: don't leave it on all the time. You will burn the battery and shorten its lifespan.

Google Maps is free

I'm a tow truck. I tried it alongside my Google Maps for a week and wasn't too happy with the Garmin GPS. Without a phone app and a Bluetooth connection, traffic won't show up. I didn't like that it was connected to my phone, when I got a call it kept switching from phone to GPS. It really got on my nerves. For $400 I'd rather just mess with Google Maps, which I love. Only if google maps knew the height of the bridge would that be perfect.

How to update over WiFi

1. To update via WIFI you have to go to your destination, don't know why but if you don't you will get an update error so I gave it 4 stars because of what I had to search the internet to fix an issue that shouldn't have been an issue in the first place2. Use Garmin Express on PC or Mac to get large updates faster before use3. Aside from that one issue, it's a great GPS so far. Just sit and play with it and read the instructions. I know it's not as simple as random, but there are so manyโ€ฆ

Only connects to Bluetooth phones, not speakers

This is the best GPS I have ever had. That being said, it can definitely be improved. It will NOT connect to a car, RV, or truck stereo system, so directional noise will be heard through the speaker system. It only connects to a Bluetooth mobile phone, so you can use all the features after downloading the Garmin Drive app. GPS has NO additional connector. It is sometimes difficult to hear the direction while driving. Other than that, it's definitely better than my previous GPS units. I wouldโ€ฆ

How to force update over Wi-Fi

1. good gear but maps suck

The bottom line is this is quality gear. It's solid, functional, loads quickly and the touchscreen works well, unlike some GPS units I've had. The only problem is that Garmin maps suck! This thing assures me that my maps are current and up-to-date, but it keeps making mistakes. It tries to send me onto closed roads that no longer exist, etc. Also, the biggest downside to this unit is that it doesn't have a "redirect button" like previous Garmin GPS units I've had. If he wants you to drive on aโ€ฆ
