Jeep WJ Coolant Flush

I flushed the coolant on my WJ and decided to replace all the hoses. Bought 2 of these and cut the top hose to match the original. Worked great.

Pros
  • Hands Free Operation
Cons
  • Not Bad

Bought for a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Bought for a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L with a heater core in return, not a perfect fit did the job. This is not suitable for the supply to the radiator, only larger return bores for the supply.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Good but not great

Fits my 1999 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0

Fits both upper and lower heater cores, needs some trimming on the straight end of a hose but overall not a big deal. Replaced the heater core but inside it was still slowly dripping onto the carpet so I replaced the hoses with these and it's no longer dripping onto the floor!

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Running speed

Did the job completely! Get 2!

Perfect for my 4.0! As others have noted in their reviews if you are replacing both heater core hoses you will need 2 pieces, there is no different part number for the other hose. Attach to the other connection of the heating core and cut to length, done! In any case, you can do both, one had a problem, the other soon! A little odd, but they feel and look like high quality tubing.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • So far so good

Same part for upper and lower heater hoses

Nowhere on the internet have I seen a clear statement to indicate this, so I'm letting everyone know that the upper and lower heater hoses are the same part. a few centimeters shorter! I forgot which hose to cut (top or bottom) when I installed them on my 2000 Grand Cherokee 4.0 a few weeks ago, but one hose fit almost perfectly from the factory and the other had to be cut. Before removing, note the correct routing of the hoses (you do not want to mix up the connections to the heater core)…

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Updates
