Nowhere on the internet have I seen a clear statement to indicate this, so I'm letting everyone know that the upper and lower heater hoses are the same part. a few centimeters shorter! I forgot which hose to cut (top or bottom) when I installed them on my 2000 Grand Cherokee 4.0 a few weeks ago, but one hose fit almost perfectly from the factory and the other had to be cut. Before removing, note the correct routing of the hoses (you do not want to mix up the connections to the heater core). Place the shorter old hose next to this new piece. Double check and measure. And make a cut. The inner diameters of the hoses are exactly matched to the radiator connections and the static body. Good quality product at a reasonable price. If you want to replace heater hoses in Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ 4.0, get 2 of them! One fits as is and the other needs trimming.
