Description of Gates 22953 Radiator Hose

Specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum. Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation – the leading cause of hose failure. EPDM tube; synthetic fiber knit reinforcement, heat-, ozone- and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover. Manufactured with OEM-exact hose components (quick connects, branch connectors/tees, sensors, etc.). Meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 under 25mm (1 in.) ID, SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 for 25mm (1 in.) ID and over.

Durable Radiator Hose for Automotive Needs

Leaking Hose: Avoid This One!

My analysis of this product showed that it is prone to leaking which can lead to engine damage and costly repairs. While it may be affordable, the potential damage that can result from a faulty radiator hose is not worth the risk..

5 fingers up! fits spares

This is a good bottom hose for degassing cylinders. In fact, you can't tell the difference between OEM and Gates hoses, the only difference is that Gates hoses allow you and your significant other to treat you and your significant other to a nice dinner and maybe that diamond ring that she wanted (well, maybe "no so far). But it's a great hose and it even comes with a black synthetic webbing.
