Thick-walled, - Parts

Significantly thicker walls than the standard part. Difficult to use OEM spring clips. The inner diameter fitted well, switched to screw clamps.

Pros

Cons
  • Not suitable for everyone

Looks good: heater

the hose seems to be well made. I'll see how they hold up with my coolant lines over time. Shops within walking distance could be cheaper to shop on foot. However, no store sells these hoses within reach.

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • high price

Arrived as described, no leaks yet.

That's what Revane says. A nice thick, durable hose, which is important considering I live in Arizona, it's literally 120 degrees outside right now, and it also needs to be able to deal with all the heat under the hood that the Corvette's engine generates above it. Of course, all rubber here has a short lifespan, but so far so good. No leaks, tears or holes. And now I've probably jinxed myself, so I bought extra just in case

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Thoughtlessness

Correct for coolant outlet lines on HMMWV/Humvee/M998

Not sure why they are sold as "Heater Hoses" as I have never seen a heater core with less than 5/8" hose. However, for the exhaust lines used on the HMMWV from the radiator to the expansion tank and from the adapter pipe to the expansion tank, this is an economical solution. It is always possible to purchase silicone hoses for this use and HMMWV suppliers offer these hoses. However, the original hose was not silicone and it is a cheaper and authentic replacement tube.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
