False advertising, do not buy.

What a scam, because there was only one clamp in the pack with the label saying '10 packs'. Very misleading ad. I'm surprised Revain would allow a product like this to be listed, especially when there are so many complaints.

Pros
  • Fits all hose and body shapes, even non-round fittings
Cons
  • Almost never

Good alternative to the hose clamp

I love these clamps. They are a clean alternative to using hose clamps when attaching a hose to a show bike or car in a visible location. I do not recommend trying to use them with a hair dryer. However, a heat gun makes installation easier.

Pros
  • Easy to install with a normal hair dryer
Cons
  • No automatic

Belts, hoses and pulleys are worth every penny

Can't say enough about how great this thing is. I made a custom radiator hose for my BMW e30 as I used a different size radiator to clean the engine bay. I had to use a metal sleeve and shorten the original hose. I ended up using two of these clamps and there were no leaks. Perfect for this application. I don't want to put them in places where your hoses can frequently disconnect.

Pros
  • Wider sealing area grips the connector's shoulder
Cons
  • Hard to say

I wasn't sure, but it works.

My wife's Infiniti G35 was starting to leak from the top hose on the radiator side. Apparently this is a common problem with this particular machine. The dealer called me to fix it for a little over $100. Yeah, I'm not surprised by the ridiculous quote about something that takes 20 minutes and $15 to replace (assuming you also replace the hose). I came across these clamps on a random forum. I was skeptical but for $2.50 why not? I had to buy a heat gun for other projects anyway (an extra $20)…

Pros
  • Heat sensitive thermoplastic with memory to prevent over or under tightening
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
