🔧 Gates 351310 Power Steering Kit - Enhanced Repair Solution Review

I was really looking forward to upgrading my struts and suspension with this product, but it fell short of my expectations. As my tests showed, the input shaft seal did not provide the promised high level of performance. The pros were that it was easy to install; however, the cons were that it did not provide the expected results and was quite pricey. I would not recommend this product to other Automotive enthusiasts looking for a reliable and efficient input shaft seal upgrade.

Old International 1510. Steering Gear. Fits perfectly. I was able to install the kit without removing the box from the truck, which saved me several days of banging on the handle with a sledgehammer.

Used this on my 1978 Jeep CJ7 which had a power steering leak at the joint between the steering shaft and steering box. I just used the gasket, dust ring and c-clip (no o-ring required). It took a few hours with regular hand tools and the leak was fixed!
