Perfect Fit is best for aftermarket

My 2015 GC Summit 5.7 v8 squeaked a bit and I decided to check the tensioner and it was very loose so decided to try this one. It took me 10 minutes to replace the tensioner, I've already driven 5,000 km and nothing creaks.

Fits 2012 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi 5.7 Hemi

Fits 2012 Ram 1500 5.7, 82.*** miles, there was a loud squeak, the noise was like a flock of birds under the hood, there was no belt, no Tensioner gear, the tensioner was to blame. After installing this tensioner, there was no more noise. Fast delivery and cheaper than the local auto parts store,

Can anyone tell me where I can buy a reliable belt tensioner?

This one drove a Dodge 5.7 Hemi, the second replacement in 2 months. What chokes me is that the belt tension seems normal (a bit tight, not excessive) and the belt runs cleanly on all pulleys, but we're already starting to squeak the tensioner. Help! By the way, we don't race and our engine is just a slightly modified powerplant (soft camshaft, intake, exhaust, spools, TB mods).

Pros
  • Engines and engine parts
Cons
  • Not trendy

Crash after 2 months! Bought

Gate 38323 for my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7L. Complete garbage! Didn't last 2 months! My battery light came on while driving on the freeway. The alternator was not spinning due to belt weakness. The belt could be pulled off by hand. The stretcher moved back and forth slightly with the strength of my hand. The tensioner was only replaced because I changed the belt. Luckily I kept my old (working) factory tensioner. I put it back on and had no problems. Now only Mopar.

Doesn't fit properly

I bought this along with another pulley and serpentine belt to replace on my 2010 Dodge Ram pickup. As I installed the belt tensioner assembly and new belt, making sure the belt was evenly distributed across all the pulleys, I reversed the engine and the belt immediately fell off and made a horrible squeak! I ended up putting the old tensioner back on and putting another new pulley on top of the old tensioner assembly. So basically this one didn't work. I bought it a long time ago to return it.
