Quality Special Drive Part

This assembly has plenty of torque on the belt and is easy to install. hole but it weighs about 1lb more than the OEM which I think is appropriate for a quality gate.

Tension can be good.

I replaced the tensioner on my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L. The belt tension is now high. I had to replace the smooth pulley as the included plastic pulley moved crookedly. Since my other clothes were only a few months old and made of steel, I replaced them with new ones. Now it works fine.

2003 Jeep Liberty belt tensioner assembly. Water pump belt

Works fine, got new belt, water pump ran fine at the same time, no more noise, no leaks. The water pump pulley was tedious to break the nut on the fan clutch, has a 36mm fan clutch nut. Make sure that the screws on the water pump are not the same length.

Easy installation, 3.7 Dodge Dakota

Fast delivery within one day. There was a loud noise when the air conditioner was turned on. I thought it was the compressor clutch. I took a stethoscope, listened to the compressor, a thud, attached it to the belt tensioner and it looked like a woodpecker knocking. It took about 15-20 minutes to remove the old tensioner and install the new one. Perfect fit for my 2006 Dodge Dakota 3.7L. Now it's smooth and quiet.

Low quality. Do not buy gates this is a cheap spare that comes in an already opened box

Poor quality. The new bolt is cheaply made, plus it's not strong enough, it will break. This is because it is not a Gates product. Someone just puts it in an already opened box. There are no gate numbers on the part and the instructions don't even say a gate. They had to send another one, when I got the first one the box was empty with the part already open, then the replacement came already open and with the part that had no clasp.
