Used for snow blower auger I recommend this brand of high quality blue V-belt for gas engines or vehicles. Most black V-belts sold at parts and hardware stores are cheaper and are rated for low-power (motor-driven) use. As a replacement strap I would use the cheaper standard black strap.

My old snowblower eats regular belts, they last and typically last 1.5 to 2 seasons. These belts are interlocking drive belts. Ordinary car seat belts break after 1-2 uses. The 67xx series belts are a real bargain.
