no problem for easy DIY repair

I bought these parts, some reverse torque sockets and a tool kit to install the timing belt for $20. I had no problems installing parts. It is important to have the right tools.

Only one screw included. Check your vehicle's owner's manual to see if you need to replace both.

Good but only one screw included. I had to increase the second equivalent torque to tighten the bolt for a 2012 Chevy Sonic 1.8 Ecotec. Only one of the six dealers had it ready for collection on the same day. If I had known, I would have ordered it beforehand.

Everything I needed

Instructions were not very good but sufficient. With all the bolts I need plus a new tensioner and idler pulley. It was easy to install after doing the cam lock tool. My car has a manual transmission so I didn't need any tools to hold the flywheel, I just asked my wife to hold the brakes in 5th gear.

If your mechanic is okay with you buying the timing belt and tensioners

I saved about $150 buying this instead of the mechanic buying it and got the job done. No problem. Gates is a leading belt manufacturer. If your mechanic agrees that you buy a timing belt and tensioner, this is for you. (The downside is that if the strap fails, the shop doesn't guarantee it will work because it wasn't her. But the chances are slim. I figured it wasn't the shot.)

Not suitable for Aveo 5 2009. Incorrect torque indicated in the data sheet

If I could I would put zero stars. The belt comes with a new bolt and instructions stating that the bolt should be tightened to 40 ft/lb. That's a lot more than the instructions say! I thought Gates should know how to install their products. The bolt rotated at about 35 ft/lbs. I had to drill and remove the broken connector. Be careful! Secondly. This belt does not fit my Chevy Aveo 5, although Amazon claims it does. So it was a waste of time and money.
