Use with 1/0 gauge wire.

These wire ends worked as intended. Basically they just keep the wire from breaking when the set screws are tightened to keep it from loosening or pulling out.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

They work.: Compression fittings

Used them to connect power and ground to my amp. Used in combination with adapters from 1/0 to 4ga. They seem to be doing their thing, just used a set screw on the gauge reducers to crimp them. I wonder how they will hold up over a longer period of time.

Increased electrical contact area

I am very happy about these tips. They are perfect for the large 1/0 OFC Sky High cable I have. I have used ferrules in all my connections and feel better because there is more physical contact between terminals and wires and they are more secure. The biggest benefit is that disconnecting and reconnecting becomes much easier as all the wireframes are held in the ferrules which are already shaped like a terminal. No more stray wires or the hassle of connecting all the wires. I can only recommend

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
