We cut the cable and thought it would be a good option for an antenna to pull local channels. Unfortunately it didn't work for us. I don't know if it was the antenna itself or just our location. We considered installing it outside to see if it would perform better, but it wasn't strong enough for Michigan winters. In the end I returned it. This might work better for others who don't have a lot of trees around.

Fantastic Deal for Me! I live in the middle of nowhere and I get 3 clear channels and 3 pixel channels with my linear antenna. A scan of this GE 34140 stealth antenna and now I have over 30 clean channels. I bought a refurbished device, but it looks like new. My only criticism is that it came in the original packaging, just no extra packaging, but luckily there was no damage. I have ordered two more for family members. Excellent goods! I hope this lasts long.

With this antenna next to the TV it was not possible to get a clear signal on all channels. So I installed it on a skylight overlooking the local TV stations. Bit of a hassle with the coax from there to my TV spot upstairs, but I get about 40 channels with a clear picture. I connected it to a Tablo DVR ($130) and it streams to my two TVs over my Wi-Fi. I have Roku on both TVs for signal reception. It took me two months saved by turning off my cable TV to pay for a "free" over-the-air TV setup.

We live in the countryside with the nearest towns about 20km away. This allowed us to find around 26 channel options, some better than others, but at least 12 are clear and noise-free. I live 18 miles from downtown Phoenix and you would think I would get a lot of channels with this antenna. I followed the instructions that came with the antenna exactly, so this was not caused by user error. I was able to receive 8 channels after downloading an app to find transmitting antennas near me. I liked the compact size and that it could be used indoors, but this antenna could not receive channels. I sent the first one back and the second antenna couldn't pick up any channels either. Got this antenna - loved the look, tried it in the living room and on the street. It doesn't pick up any channels at all, while Walmart's cheapest antenna picks up at least one or two in our area.
