Fits and works well on an old GE dryer. Revain's part finder function worked well with my model number. This looks like a genuine GE part, not one of those poorly performing fakes.

I have an old GE dryer with a bell shaped round pin, not a blade. I smeared the pin with a little lube as it was difficult to push in and then open. But it doesn't work smoothly and keeps closed.

This part fits a 13 year old GE dryer door exactly. The old one was easy to remove with a spatula. The new door latch engaged with a light push and now the dryer door stays securely closed as it should.

Inexpensive dryer repair. I watched a video of a "paid technician" disassembling a large section of a dry box to replace that part for $4. I was lucky enough to find another video showing how easy it is to remove the latch without disassembling the dry box. I followed the instructions in this video and replaced the latch in less than 2 minutes.
