Works great in the closet. hung one on each side of the door. If you use mounting tape, do not use what comes with the product. You will damage the device if you try to disconnect it to change the battery. I used two velcro straps to hang the pictures. Remove to change the battery and then simply plug it back in. It's also useful if you ever want to change locations. Just use the new Velcro wherever you want to place it.

I like the concept and the light itself. However, the toggle switch is not suited to the way you mount it. If you use screws in the wall and hang it up when it's on the light will be off and vice versa. It's very annoying to be honest. We've tried taking it apart to see if we can just flip it over, but that's not possible. Not sure if we received a defective one or something or if it's a bad design but we just delivered it and now we're outside the returns window and stuck. irritated.

I had 2 of these lights with RF setting (RF = radio frequency so you can turn the light on with the wall switch you installed) so I can turn it on with the switch that comes with it. The block works as it should. Only problem is I didn't know RF eats up battery life like crazy! Each device requires 6 AA batteries in RF mode, which recognizes the light switch. This killed 12 batteries in maybe 3 or 4 months.

IF they weren't a waste of money and energy - batteries wear out instantly - then I would suggest using a 3M Velcro too rather than the semi permanent sticky thing that makes changing batteries almost impossible.
