Banana plugs suck

Returning my GearIT 10 AWG wired speaker with banana plugs. Banana plugs are too big for my speakers and power amp. The spring part of the fork breaks after being inserted because they are too wide. Then your speaker loses connection. Upon closer inspection, one realizes that the way they are built is a major flaw and flaw. All 4 plugs broke after I just plugged them in and then unplugged them once. Broken. This is a design flaw.

Good wire for the money

So I bought a cable and cut it in half as I use it on my DVC sub and my amps for it are close by. This is perfect for this application as I need banana plugs on one end and bare wire on the other. I can't justify buying blue denim wire for my subwoofer, however I use 10 AWG of them for the front three speakers and my left and right speakers are horizontal bi-amp speakers. Coming back to that thread, I've bought several different pairs of this brand over the year and they've all done their job.

The GearIT 10 AWG speaker cable is of very high quality.

I have several high-quality stereo systems at home. In this case I needed an exceptionally good set of speaker cables. These are OFC (oxygen free copper), 10ga wire and high quality "banana plugs". I hooked up my speakers to a set of Pioneer HPM100 (1979) speakers and a Bob Carver tube amp (70 watts per channel). These speakers, when connected, greatly improved the "stage sound" of my music by doing A/B comparisons between the old speaker cables and the GearIT cables. My recommendation: Theseโ€ฆ

Good cable for the price

Very good cable and build quality for a 10 AWG. He already has a nylon jacket and Y-sleeves. Some people have complained that this cable is not soldered, but poor quality soldering will affect the sound. I saved the cable for future use, but in the end I settled on a slightly more expensive AudioBlast 8AWG cable for my Anthony Gallo 3.1 speakers. AudioBlast is slightly better in bass and clarity. While it doesn't have all the features of GearIT, it's a very solid cable with an amazingโ€ฆ

Great cables, especially for low impedance speakers.

First I use PSB Synchrony One B 4 ohm bookshelf speakers High quality speaker cable makes more noticeable due to the damping factor and dB loss as the damping factor is halved and the dB loss doubles 8 ohms versus 4 ohms. I started with a 12 gauge Metra non-ofc cable and Amazon banana plugs. It sounded good, but quiet listening was fuzzy and too boomy. My speakers are 1.5 feet from the front wall, not the recommended 3 feet. The damping factor has increased from 100 to 50 with 4 ohms. Then Iโ€ฆ

Doesn't work for single install on 35 footers. This wire is flat and permanently twisted.

This listing does not indicate that these cables are flat. Pretty messed up, I ordered them. Also, I just got them today and they're now $20 off. I also ordered a center channel cable, but that's not as critical to the installation. I'm glad I didn't order the cables for the front as planned. Something said to wait for this. In no case do I want to look at them, as with facades. I also planned to order an AC power cord with a matching braid. I will remove them from my backup list for futureโ€ฆ
